If you want to learn more about growing plants, forestry, wildlife, turf & landscape, environmental issues, then our Agriculture program might be a good fit for you. Our students will utilize the fields and forests at Caribou Technology Center to cultivate, plant, maintain, harvest and sell fresh commodities. Students will also have the opportunity to gain summer employment working at our farm stand. This class meets the requirements of 1 Science credit. FFA- students enrolled in any Agriculture class are encouraged to join the Caribou FFA Chapter. FFA members participate in many field trips and community activities throughout the year. Students get the opportunity to hold leadership positions and to compete at the state and national conventions through membership in FFA. This course provides a dual credit opportunity for students with the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and University of Maine at Fort Kent.
